‘Waratah Flower’ PDF Embroidery Pattern

For national embroidery month (February in the US) I decided to add some Australian flair and challenged myself to embroider 28 Australian natives in 28 days. The Waratah is the state flower of New South Wales and using the pearl cotton for the centre has just created textured galore!!!! The perfect piece to practice long and short stitch, satin stitch and lazy daisy stitch. Swap out the reds for a mixture of whites and cream for a white waratah!
