New Series – Throwback Travel Thursdays

Hi All!! The irony of the title of this blog post hasn’t escaped me haha. It’s a new blog, so of course every series is going to be new! But I thought I should give a proper introduction to this little segment I am wanting to start, so strap yourselves in.

In 2013, my sister and I went on a massive 5 week road trip down the coast of Australia as a last hurrah after my graduation from University (goodbye 4 months of holidays a year ๐Ÿ˜ข) and in 2016, I went to the UK for 5 weeks with two of my girlfriends. When I was busy brainstorming ideas to get me started on my blog, I wanted to find a way to share photos from these traveling holidays I have been on. My sister came up with this idea and I loved it! Using the ever popular #TBT, it gave me a way to share photos from a few years ago but still keep the rest of my blog current #sistersarethebest.

I’m not a seasoned traveler (yet… ๐Ÿ˜‰), only going on my first big overseas trip last year, but I am a good researcher. I love to learn as much as I can about the places I want to go and even learn about some places I didn’t know I wanted to go to. Hey, you don’t know what you don’t know, right? I do love to travel but this is definitely not another travel blog. I’ll be honest, I don’t really know where this blog will take me except as a place to share memories and photos from my life. I love taking photos andย I just want to see the world and experience things that I have only seen in pictures or movies (give me that New York slice in Central Park people!!). Trust me, I have a very long travel wishlist.

I have a big collection of photos from places and things that I have done that I would love to share with everyone. Maybe you will get inspired to visit these places. Some posts of places will be more of a review of what I did, and others will just be photos and memories. I hope you enjoy my reflections – maybe they will help with your own travel planning. Now that I have the bug, I’m most definitely motivated to keep travelling.
